Cubic (Mac) stopped working for me recently. It just crashes on startup. I tried reinstalling but no joy. I had to switch to the only (it seems) other choice: Gqrx. It works, just not as purdy as Cubic. Thinking about getting an inexpensive Winblows just for SDR#.

The newer Ham Radios such as the IICOM 7300 and Icom 7610, the Yaesu FT-DX101MP AND THE KENWOOD TS-890S all come with a digital decoder.

HDSDR is no doubt the best ( most user friendly) all the others are all VERY similar..and TBH pretty bad
Why can the build in a Digital demodulator ?? Lazy software considering almost everything on UHF 8s digital

DragonOS has a pretty awesome suite with it if you want to dive in head first. It just worked for me in my quick testing.

I just bought my first unit. But I just found out that it's all about adapters...lol. So I'm studying which ones that would work. Pretty nifty though.
