Reminds me of Knotfest Iowa in 2021. No Water, no food (after about 2 hours they only had pickles.). Lines that took over 6 hours to get in because there was no one directing traffic. Numerous people passed out from heat and only one water re-fill station with no indicators of where it was. Luckily i stumbled upon it in the corner and it had little to no traffic, as no one could find it!
Im so happy Welcome to Rockville was great
Massive Slipknot W as usual love those dudes
Last festival i went to was Epicenter, formerly Carolina Rebellion. And there was a bad storm and they had to cancel the rest of the night, lucikly they were able to continue the next day and i never heard about any serious injuries.
If you all were more invested in the what's happening on this planet, instead of standing around watching EDM and flashing light's? Instated of educating yourselves in current weather, and planetary issue's? This would have never happened. Also the fact that man is a pathological liar? My advice, keep all your heads in the sand, and plan the next venture into planet Earth...
This kind of reminds me of when the crowd in the lawn section piled up all the garbage lying around, set it on fire and circle pit around it during Lamb of God. It was poisonous as hell but at least it was fun.
I attended Blue Ridge Rock festival in 2022 and besides the long wait for the shuttles, and the Hill.. if you went you know exactly what I'm talkin about... It was an absolute amazing experience... This year I decided not to go and it seems like that was a fantastic choice that I made considering the absolute horror stories..
Couldn't afford to go this year... guess that worked out
I only went Friday and thank the gods I didn't get talked into camping. Friday was bad enough and it was the day we got full programming. (Heat exhaustion is not fun) I've been to other festivals and holy crap this was bad. Several friends had a real bad time that weekend as well.
I live in southwest virginia and went to blue ridge rock fest in 2021. I camped the whole weekend with my son and we had a fantastic time. We were talking about going this year but things didnt work out and im so very glad i didnt end up wasting my money. I feel for everyone effected by this.
I was there and it was a shit show, the bus passes weren't added into the tickets so a while standing in line a lot of people were THEN informed they needed to buy them. The staff was treated horribly to the point where they went on strike, it was $4.50 just for a water bottle during extreme heat but on friday they just put all the water they had into a circle so anyone puld grab it which I know a lot of people were quite thankful for. The lines for the busses took hours and people were dropping left and right, it took them thirty minutes to get to them. The handicapped busses were broken so that is a lawsuit in itself, they were having to put them on the gocarts to take them back to their cars. You weren't allowed to walk to or from the festival, you HAD to ride the bus but on the first day I know the busses were so packed because everyone wanted to leave that people were standing in the isles. During the storm there was no shelter and they sent people in the wrong direction because they had no clue where the busses were so we were standing in hale foe hours, someone broke into one of the buildings on sight to give a handicapped person and children shelter. My phone got ruined during the storm so I had to buy a new one the next day, not to mention the parking. There was no room so a lot of people, myself included, had to park on the side of the road IN FRONT OF THE COPS. Luckily they just didn't care because they knew how horrible the festival was put together.
This festival and Burning Man have started to turn the tide in going to big events it seems. I think Coachella's different bc it's on private property and run tight. PS new sub
damn bro i remember download festival 2015 friday night coming back to camp after slipknot to a collapsed gazebo & ankle deep water in my tent, sleeping bag LEGIT floating. spent ALL my money on a dry set of clothes to leave & make the 9 hour drive home. festivals are amazing but also 50/50 chance of life long memories vs shit show.
2014, that year will live with me forever seeing LP play hybrid theory in full, never forget ❤
Woodstock 99: 👁️👄👁️
I almost went to that concert. thank God I didnt
Eww knocked over filled (and likely locked) portal potties ( 9WAW795NbXs&t=6m30s 6:30 ) 🤮😷 It's like I can still smell them from here
At 9WAW795NbXs&t=6m25s 6:25 that picture reminds me of the many news and social media videos and pics of the roads/highway and areas next to the roads during the Burning Man fest 2023 in Nevada (still was let happen while a heavy hurricane/typhoon was going just over the area, rest of most areas had warnings alerts and instructions to prep for it).
I was at the first one and the third one. First one was at a winery in Lynchburg VA. Life kept me from going this year but I guess I was lucky I didn't go! Last year there was logistic issues with getting to the event but NOTHING like this!
So glad I didn’t go to this festival. Have not heard anyone say anything good about this festival.
